Various old stamp sets and supplies were used

on these cards.

I don't know which stamp sets were used

or even the manufacturer. 

I can tell you that everything used is long retired.

Also that the cake on the first one

and the Happy Birthday! on the last were from Stampin' Up!

2 More Sympathy Cards

The above card was a CAS Favorite at 

Splitcoaststampers

I made a couple more sympathy cards to have on hand.

We've needed to send out several this year :(

These two are nice and flat so they

won't require extra postage to mail. 

All supplies used came from Stampin' Up! 

4 Sympathy Cards

Hubby needed two sympathy cards recently 

so I made these for him to choose from.

He liked the center and last ones the best. 

Stamp images came from Stampin' Up! years ago.

Butterfly Die Cuts Cards

Playing around with a butterfly die.

I'll add greetings to the cards when needed.

I did add wire antennae to them after I

took these photographs. 

I used Brushos on water color paper

to create the "ombre" look layer underneath. 

All supplies used were from Stampin' Up!

and are all now retired.

New Puppy Card

A long time pen pal who lost her fur baby

earlier this summer brought home a new puppy!

This is the card I made to congratulate her.

I hope this one arrives in a timely fashion.
The sympathy card I sent took over a month-
and she lives in a neighboring state!

Assorted cards I made recently,

most were putting to use some scraps.

Don't Feel So Hot Card

This cute penguin image is an oldie from Stampin' Up!

 I water colored it with inks from my ink pads and an aqua brush.

Good Friends Card

Cute, simple enough card.

Pressure embossed background was done on a piece of 

white core card stock, creating a slightly distressed look.

The EF came from Stampin' Up!

I lightly water colored in the heart portion of the 

stamp image and added a rhinestone accent.

Thin organdy ribbon is folded behind the fancy die cut

(Stampin' Up!)

Vase of Flowers Card

I'm not sure of the manufacturer of this stamp and die set.

The mini banner was created with a punch from Stampin' Up!

and is covered with Stickles glitter glue.

The "hi" die cut is a portion of an old die from Cuttlebug.

The embossing folder is also from Cuttlebug.

Good Thoughts Card

This card is inspired by a sample in an old

 Stampin' Up! catalog. I used what I had on hand

and changed it up to make a similar card

Everything other than the honeycomb patterned paper

came from Stampin' Up!

Skater Boy Card

I may have gone overboard with this one!

I should have left the "enamel dots" off 

and used them on another card.

Once again, I used several old stamp sets from

 Stampin' Up! to create this card.

Dirt Biker Card

Fun combination of images on this card!

It's difficult to see some of the details in the photo:

The entire stamped panel is popped up over the base.

The torn strip of Sahara Sand is textured.

The gears were cut out of black card stock and 

I dabbed brown paint on them.

All supplies were from Stampin' Up!

(other than the acrylic craft paint)

Card inspired by a sample in an old

Stampin' Up! catalog.

Bowl of Apples Card

The image is water colored with inks from my dye ink pads

and an aqua painter. It's from a really old stamp set

called Country Comfort. The inside border was made

with the old Gingham Stampin' Around wheel

and the outside with the Buffalo Check background stamp.

All supplies used were from Stampin' Up!

Gee, Thanks Card

This is the last of the chalkboard type stamp images

I made cards with recently.

Everything other than the yellow dimensional dots

(used to hide some smudges!)

came from Stampin' Up!

I inked up a portion of a word bubble stamp

with water based markers for the "gee, thanks".

There's You Card

I'm not sure about this card. . . . .

Another chalkboard image,

but this one I tried to color over some of

the white craft ink with metallic pencils.

The die cuts are lightly colored with chalks.

Everything other than the patterned paper inside

and the old craft sequins came from Stampin' Up!

Yes, even that wide organdy ribbon that they

sold about 15+ years ago.

Little Something Card

I lightly rubbed a Craft white ink pad

across textured black card stock

to create the background

for this chalkboard image stamp.

I stamped the tag twice then cut out the word

SOMETHING and popped it up with dimensionals.

Ribbon from the dollar store,

Prima paper flowers, rhinestones,

die cut leaves from a newer Stampin' Up! set

Patterned paper inside, unknown

ink, papers, stamp image all form Stampin' Up!

Happy Birthday, Human Card

Images, inks, papers, dies were from Stampin' Up!

The image is water colored in

with dye inks and an aquapainter.

Foundry embossing folder, Tim Holtz 

The yellow chevrons were pieces punched

out from a border punch by SU!

I added them after the card was done.

It seemed to need something and they

happened to be in the same bag of 

die cut leftovers the screw heads were in.

I trimmed them to fit then glued them in place

around the banner that was already adhered

to the card front. 

Certainly a different detail,

normally I would use gears, screws,

something mechanical like. 

The tiny screw head accents are little pieces

that were leftovers from a gear die cut.

I pressed a screwdriver into them to create

slight indentations.

HAPPY Birthday Card

I think I spent nearly two hours on this card ! 

I was determined to make something similar

to one I saw in an old Stampin' Up! catalog.

Trial and error, rooting through supplies,

redoing parts that I got smudges on, etc.

All inks, card stocks and stamp images

were from Stampin' Up!

I inked up a portion of a larger stamp

with a water based maker to get just

the word BIRTHDAY.

I made my own background paper

with a sponge dauber and ink.

The balloon die was from 

The Stamps of Life.

HAPPY was created with letter dies from 

Little B

Partying Iguana Card

First time I've ever inked up this stamp!

I used water based markers directly

on the rubber to create the multi colored image.

It is an old one from Stampin' Up!

The balloons on the inside were from 

Technique Tuesday

All inks, card stocks, button, baker's twine

and ribbon were from SU!

Pink Party Hats Card

This card took longer than I planned!

I could have simply stamped party hats,

but I decided to find punches to make them.

I used a double pennant punch from Stampin' Up!

I'm not sure of the name, but it has a triangle and 

a slightly larger scalloped triangle.

I used a portion of the scallop for the 

glittery bottom edge of the hats.

The glittery pom top is the center of a

really old snowflake paper punch from SU!

Assorted embossing folders, rubber stamps,

brads, patterned paper, dimensionals

 and inks finish it off.

Glittery Princess Card

Once again, inking up some old stamps 

from Stampin' Up! for this sweet

- and glittery! - card.

It's difficult to see in the photos, 

but I used some diamonds Stickles

on the crown and wand.

Rhinestones finish off the crown.

There are also strips glitter paper

on the front and inside.

The images are water colored in

with inks from my classic dye ink pads

and an aquapainter.

Birthday Candle Trio Cards

Putting to use some old Jolee's stickers

to make these bright, somewhat CAS cards.

I custom cut the die cut stitched rectangle,

making it smaller than the original die

to fit the images better.

The background is embossed with a

Cuttlebug folder.

The rubber stamp images are oldies

from Stampin' Up! 

I water colored them in. 

The card stocks are also from SU!

and match the colors of the candles

well in real life.
