Pinwheel Halloween Card

Not quite sure if that is what this type of fun fold card is called,
but coincidentally I received it in the mail from my long time
"pen pal" the same day the Splitcoaststampers newsletter
had a tutorial for a Stepped Up Pinwheel Card

I just love it!

I did mention in my previous post that
I have 100 or so holiday cards already made,
but I think I might need to make one more
with this fun fold ;)

Trick or Treat Card

All supplies used were from Stampin' Up!, most of which are no longer available.

I combined three different sets for this card.

The main image was colored directly to the rubber with water based markers to create the multi colored image.

Halloween Home Card

This card uses the Holiday Home stamp and dies set
from Stampin' Up!

The house is colored with inks from my classic ink pads
from Stampin' Up! using an aqua painter.
It is attached to the tag with dimensionals.

Trees, bats and sentiment are heat embossed black.

Purple twine came from Target.

Patterned papers are from Die Cuts With A View.

The sky was made with Distress Oxide ink.
I dabbed Violet ink onto black card stock
and spritzed it with water. Heat set then dabbed
on a wee bit more ink.
It looks a bit like my foot currently does:
I broke a toe the other day and am
waiting to see a specialist on Monday
for a determination if it will require surgery.
Fingers crossed oh so tightly it does not!
I've had so many bad things happen this year,
I don't need that, too. Just dealing with a broken
toe alone the next month or so will be tough enough,
I don't want to add recovery from surgery, too. Ugh.

set by Stampin ' Up!
Some are attached with dimensionals.

Hand cut banner, stamped with a sentiment
from Stampin' Up!

Boo patterned paper is from Die Cuts With A View.

Orange grosgrain ribbon.

Cat Silhouette Card

Playing with a cat silhouette die and
Distress Oxide ink (my second try)
to create this Halloween card.

I dabbed a wee bit of Violet ink onto black card stock,
spritzed it with water. Dabbed a bit more on top.

The "stars" are made by splattering white craft paint
with a toothbrush onto the card stock.

The moon is a piece of copy weight paper punched out
with a circle punch. I sponged a teeny bit of grey ink onto it.
White craft ink was sponged onto the background around
the circle punch to create the moon glow.

Papers and stamp image were from Stampin' Up!

Cat die, unknown.

Circle dies, Spellbinders.

Simple Jack O'Lantern Card

Another simple Halloween card, this one uses an old stamp image
from Stampin' Up!. Maybe I should have heat embossed it in black?

It is layered over a piece of decorative paper from
Die Cuts With A View backed by green paper,
also by DCWV.

The postage edge punch (that I used unsuccessfully)
is from Stampin' Up!

The image is attached with dimensionals.

Googlie Eye Ghost Halloween Card

No more sympathy card posts!
It's time to share the Halloween cards
I made earlier this month.

This is the first, a really simple one.

I die cut a ghost from the Fall Fest die set
by Stampin' Up! then added googlie eyes
and a simple hand cut banner.

It's mounted to textured black card stock
with dimensionals.

Quick and easy !!!!

Halloween Scrapbook

These are a few pages from a small scrapbook I made recently
for some old photos one of my uncles gave me
of extended family members building a float.
They are pretty basic pages.

Rubber stamp images were from Stampin' Up!

Patterned papers are from Die Cuts With A View stacks

Various embellishments

The photos are terrible because I didn't think to take
pictures until after the album was assembled.
It is an old paper page type photo album that I
attached the pages directly to then decided to try to find
plastic sleeves that could be altered to fit.
The only way was to trim them down then punch holes in
the sleeves themselves for the paper pages to slide into.
The paper page and the plastic sleeve are both attached
to the album covers by posts running through each part.
It is a bit of work to disassemble it.
So the photos are of the pages in plastic sleeves
inside of the album covers, thus the glare.

Jack O Lantern Cat Scrapbook Page

we have two sponsors !
Because there are two sponsors,
I have two projects to share today
as a design team member for TTCRD.
My first is this cute 6" x 6" scrapbook page.

The pumpkin cat image on
the scrapbook page is from
our generous sponsor

Prize: 2 digital images

I printed and cut out the image a couple of times,
colored it in and trimmed it into different parts.
I attached the in layers using dimensionals
to create the 3D cat element.

Thanks for looking =)

Also, this is my final month as a DT member for TTCRD.

Mini Halloween Diorama

Today I'm sharing my design team project for the Love To Craft Challenge Blog.
We are a month long anything crafty goes craft challenge blog,
won't you share what crafty project you are working on ?

My project is a silly little way to repurpose a box
that once held embellishements.
It was a pumpkin shaped box and quite sturdy,
so I saved it in my "I'm going to do something
with that someday" drawer full of  "trash" to repurpose.

I decided to make a sort of diorama out of it.
I painted the inside with black acrylic craft paint.
I adhered a piece of decorative paper trimmed to fit
(Die Cuts With A View).
I stamped and cut out two jack o'lanterns
(Stampin' Up!) then attached them
with dimensionals.
I hot glued in some "moss" and
a couple of paper punched leaves.
I made a little wood look sign with
various stamps and ink then attached
it with thin wire.
