MORE Baby Cards

My Aunt didn't make it by as soon as I expected,
so I had some time to make a few more cards
to add to her selection ;)

The below two cards are similar to one I made for twins
a couple of years ago. See that card here

The below two cards were inspired by a sample
I saw somewhere and I remembered the basic idea.

Papers, inks, punches, embossing folders and most images were from
Stampin' Up!

Assorted Baby Girl Cards

Here are the baby girl cards I made for my Aunt
to choose from. She wanted two, but I wanted to
give her a few options. I tried to keep them
simple and flat , but got a bit carried away on some.

The fist two cards use images from Technique Tuesday.
The rest are Stampin' Up! images

Thanks for looking, have a good day =)

Assorted Baby Boy Cards

These are the baby boy cards I made for my Aunt
to choose from. She requested two, but I wanted
to give her a few to choose two from.

I tried to keep them fairly flat and a bit simple
because she didn't want to worry about extra postage.

Most supplies came from Stampin' Up!

Thanks for looking, have a good day =)

All dine in restaurants and bars are now closed in my state.
All schools will be closed next Tuesday.
I know that this is going to be extremely stressful for families,
but perhaps they can also find time for fun, make some memories amidst all of this chaos.
As for me, my kids are now grown and on their own. I do worry about them catching
the virus while at work. I'm fortunate to be at home, so I'll work on various crafty projects
like cards to take to my vendor booth or photo albums.
Stay safe and healthy, friends !

Swirly Bunny Baby Card

The adorable 3D bunny sticker was a freebie
from a yard sale I attended earlier this fall.
It was the inspiration for the card design.

I die cut a scalloped square glittery green piece of
card stock for the base.
There is a pink layer between it and the white
swirl dry embossed piece.
Sandwiched between the sticker and the
white swirly piece is a scrap of vellum.
Simple enough to make this sweet card.

Thanks for looking =)

Tall Stork Baby Card

All supplies used (other than the plaid ribbon)
are oldies from Stampin' Up!

This is the last of the new baby cards I made
for my Mom to choose from.
The leftovers are now in stock.

An engagement card is coming up next
then I plan on making a few
sympathy cards as I've already needed two this year.
All that I made last year have been used :(

Thanks for looking , stay warm !

Cute Giraffe Baby Card

More scraps being put to use for another baby card.
This one is mail friendly - and not pink!

I used a tag that wasn't die cut properly,
adding a scalloped edge to the bottom
where it should have had rounded corners like the top.
The yellow scallop is glitter paper, but it doesn't show in the photo.

Rubber stamp image by Stampin' Up!,
water colored with ink from my pads and a water brush.

Thanks for looking, have a great day !

Sweet Pink Baby Card

Awwww,  I like how this card turned out using up more scraps
and an old button from my sewing stash.

The little bear button was somewhat scary looking,
but I used a Sharpie marker to add
eyes and a nose to improve it.

It has hand stitched through the knot of the polka dot organdy bow.
The new mommy could take if off of the card
and use it somehow, to make a hair bow for example.

Papers from Die Cuts With A View.

I have a couple more baby cards to share still,
I was on a roll. Mom had asked me to make one
for her to send for a shower, but I couldn't make just one !
I had to give her options, after all ;)

Thanks for looking , have a great day !

One Little Baby Card

Yet another simple baby shower card.
I'm going to make another one in blue to keep on hand.

The stamp images, card stocks, inks, stampin' pastels, papers
and punches were from Stampin' Up! , but are all long retired now.

Thanks for looking =)

I was lucky enough to see the Super Blood Wolf Moon last night -
and it was over freshly fallen snow!
So pretty - and so cold!!!

Blush Baby Footprints Card

A third baby shower card I made recently.
This one is more time intensive than the two previously shared.

All supplies used were from Stampin' Up!
except the sentiment inside which I
created on my computer and printed out.

The pink color looks a bit odd because it is
actually some old Blush Blossom I have.
Going Gray was also used.

Yes, that is real stitching on the front panel.

Stamps: I'm Here, Riveting and Little Feet wheel

Thanks for looking =)
