Today I'm sharing the scrapbook page I've been working on this week
for the scrapbook I made of my parents show truck. The album has
photos of most of the trophies and awards it won over the years that
they showed it. I've also made a couple of pages showing the two big
road trips my husband and I took it on the past year since the truck was
given to me after Dad's passing. It's a really nice road trip vehicle !
I took the truck to a car show this summer at the urging of my uncle
who was debuting his recently restored 50's Chevy.
He really wanted Dad's truck parked by his beautiful car.
It was a bittersweet (and very hot, humid!) day.
Mom even showed up at awards time - where I was
totally surprised that the truck won first place in it's class !

I edited the photo of the cars to add a "ghost"image of Dad behind the wheel
(it didn't print out well, looks much better on the computer screen).
