Embroidered Christmas Tree Applique Card

Earlier this year we went to a church fundraiser yard sale.
I bought a grab bag of various crafty items,
most of which I could not use.
However, there were some things I could work with such as
a set of four embroidered appliques that I decided to use on cards!

SUPPLIES:
Decorative paper from Die Cuts With A View
Paper tag and baker's twine from the Dollar Spot at Target
"merry" cut with a die from Recollections/Michael's

I'll be sharing the rest of the cards I made using these appliques
over the next few days.

Thanks for looking =)

Jack O Lantern Cat Scrapbook Page

we have two sponsors !
Because there are two sponsors,
I have two projects to share today
as a design team member for TTCRD.
My first is this cute 6" x 6" scrapbook page.

The pumpkin cat image on
the scrapbook page is from
our generous sponsor

Prize: 2 digital images

I printed and cut out the image a couple of times,
colored it in and trimmed it into different parts.
I attached the in layers using dimensionals
to create the 3D cat element.

Thanks for looking =)

Mini Halloween Diorama

Today I'm sharing my design team project for the Love To Craft Challenge Blog.
We are a month long anything crafty goes craft challenge blog,
won't you share what crafty project you are working on ?

My project is a silly little way to repurpose a box
that once held embellishements.
It was a pumpkin shaped box and quite sturdy,
so I saved it in my "I'm going to do something
with that someday" drawer full of  "trash" to repurpose.

I decided to make a sort of diorama out of it.
I painted the inside with black acrylic craft paint.
I adhered a piece of decorative paper trimmed to fit
(Die Cuts With A View).
I stamped and cut out two jack o'lanterns
(Stampin' Up!) then attached them
with dimensionals.
I hot glued in some "moss" and
a couple of paper punched leaves.
I made a little wood look sign with
various stamps and ink then attached
it with thin wire.
