Super Simple Scrap Card

This was super easy to make from scraps.
Some of the scraps came from this old calendar
that I dismantled to reuse the bits and pieces from.

The ribbon, die cut stitched scallop edge and
die cut yay! are new pieces.

3D Butterfly Sticker Card 2

This is the last of the simple cards I made using
popped up stickers I found in a box of freebies
at a yard sale last month.

The stamp image is from Stampin' Up!
(partially inked to omit the flowers)

Glittery green paper and pink card stock are
layered behind a stitched rectangle die cut.

3D Butterfly Stickers Tag Card

Simple and sweet card using a tag and 3D stickers
with a few embellishments.

Stickers, unknown. They were in a box of freebies from a yard sale.

Textured blue card stock is a note card from
Die Cuts With A View that I trimmed.
It is mounted on top of a white card base.

The tag was die cut with a really old steel rule die
that came with the huge Accucut die cut machine I
bought years ago, before there were small die cut machines.

The clouds embossing folder came from Stampin' Up!

The shimmery edged organdy ribbon was ordered from an online
supplier years ago, I think it may have been JKM Ribbon.

3D Butterfly Sticker Card 1

The first of three quick cards I made with 3D butterfly stickers
(unknown, they were in a box of freebies from a yard sale)
I made recently. I added simple stamping embellished with
a die cut shape and a pressure embossed background
to dress it up.

The rubber stamp image and die cut shape are from Stampin' Up!

The paisley embossing folder was from Cuttlebug.

Thank You, Veterans

Honoring the sacrifices many have made for our country in the name of
freedom and democracy is the very foundation of Veterans Day.

3D Daisy Sticker Card

Putting to use another freebie from a yard sale -
the 3D flowers sticker to create this simple card.

The white panel was die cut with a
stitched rectangle die then water colored.

I'll add a greeting later.

It's layered over Old Olive and
Barely Banana (textured) card stock.

Swirly Bunny Baby Card

The adorable 3D bunny sticker was a freebie
from a yard sale I attended earlier this fall.
It was the inspiration for the card design.

I die cut a scalloped square glittery green piece of
card stock for the base.
There is a pink layer between it and the white
swirl dry embossed piece.
Sandwiched between the sticker and the
white swirly piece is a scrap of vellum.
Simple enough to make this sweet card.

Bright Oxides and Dragonflies Card

Second attempt at using Oxide Distress inks last month.
It didn't turn out too badly I suppose.

The stamped sentiment is by Stampin' Up!

The dragonfly stickers were freebies from a yard sale
earlier this fall.

Wonderful Romance Sympathy

This card is a copy from the Occasions catalog
this year by Stampin' Up!
All supplies used were from  Stampin' Up!
The greeting is from an older stamp set,
but the rest of the images and die cuts
were made with the new Wonderful Romance bundle.

I water colored the images with inks from my classic
Stampin' Up! ink pads and an aquapainter.
It was stamped on water color paper.

The inside of the card is lined with vellum
that I stamped and heat embossed a sentiment onto.

Last month when I had a few days to make several cards,
it was almost like it was a premonition:
I made two sympathy cards for a challenge
then I needed to mail them out two weeks later.
I also made a sending good thoughts card
that I could have made for myself after having
broken a toe pretty badly one week after making the card.
I lucked out and will not need surgery on it,
but will have to wear a boot for 6 weeks.
It's still very sore and swollen.  I'm surprised
to see the bruising disappearing after one week.

All of the cards I made in that stretch will be shared this month.

Maple Syrup Jar Photo Holder

Today I am happy to share with you
my most recent creation as a design team member
We are a month long anything crafty goes challenge.
We'd love to see what you've made!

My project is a photo holder made from a leaf shaped jar
that once held maple syrup. My daughter brought it back
from a trip she took to Canada.

I poured metallic acrylic craft paint inside and swirled
it around to coat it. It took such a long time to dry.

I cut a photo clip from an old photo holder
that my daughter no longer wanted.
I dabbed some alcohol ink onto it
so that it would'n't be as shiny silver.
I then stuck it through a piece of cork
that fit perfectly in the mouth of the jar.

The tag was made with rubber stamps,
a digital image by Kimeric Kreations,
inks and paint.

Brown satin ribbon and gold metallic cord
are tied into a bow then hot glued on.

Thanks for looking, have a great day =)
