Puppy With Balloons Birthday Card

Birthday card I made for my daughter's long time friend

who loves dogs. 

I stamped the balloon a couple of additional times,

hand cut them out and adhered them

behind the main image.

I added extra lines with a black pen.

Image colored with inks from ink pads

and an aquapainter. 

I should have heat embossed the "happy birthday"

on the black card stock, the white craft ink seems to

have faded a bit when it dried.

All supplies used were from Stampin' Up!

Framed Doodle

I wish I had taken photos of what the old frame

looked like before painting it solid white.

It was pretty icky, the flat blue paint was

scuffed and dirty. It has screen printed words 

and polka dots on it, too.

It was sanded and painted with spray can paint.

The image is a portion of a 12 x 12 sheet 

I was recently gifted.

I cut out then hand colored it with inks from

ink pads and an aqua painter. 

I added polka dot grosgrain ribbon to holes

at the top of the frame for hanging.
