Kitty's Intro Page

This is the first page for Kitty's scrapbook.

Papers and elements are all quite old, unknown.
They were bought at a Big Lots store years ago.
The journaling piece was from a little notepad
filled with tear out prompts, also old.
I rubber stamped the name between brackets
that were preprinted on the journal card.

I'm not really very happy with this page,
I should've maybe used it for my male cat.
These are photos of a little girl kitty,
I should've made it more feminine.
The colors did go with the photos, though.
I'll make up for it on some other pages!

Thanks for looking, have a good day =)

Back to Scrappin'

I was finally able to get back to scrappin'
photos for the pet albums -
with a little "help" at times!

I have such a looooooong
way to go with that project,
plus a list at least an arm long
of other things I want to get done.
You know how it is ;)

I haven't been scrapping in any
particular order, just trying to get
pages done as time allows.

The first page I'll share is the one in the above photo.
It's part of a simple pocket page.
Patterned paper and embossed paper strips
behind the photos plus a die cut circle tag with
ribbons for the date.

It's actually the back of this page:

Old patterned papers and element, unknown.
Solid card stock and ribbon from Stampin' Up! matched well.
Word strip is a rubber stamp image from Lawn Fawn.

Thanks For The Support

I had a request to make a "funny" card.
Something to show support to the recipient.

So I googled ideas. For nearly an hour!
I finally came across a tutorial image
in google search posted at Pinterest.
It was the only bra/bikini top image like this I'd seen
and I thought is was cute. Plus, I had all of the
supplies to make one! I showed the basic idea to
the person that placed the request and she loved it.

Mine isn't nearly as cute and is misshapen
compared to the original since I didn't have
an image of it at my work space.
I just noted how to make the basic design
on a piece of scratch paper.

My first step was to find narrow ribbon in my stash
to see what colors of paper to use,
then I could make the rest of the card from there.
I had a narrow light blue with white polka dots.

Next I paper punched the cups with the
ornament and large circle punches
following the instructions I found (below).

I stamped white flower images onto
the Bliss Blue card stock with white craft ink.

I used the eyelet ribbon border punch
rather than dies for my lacy edges.
Regular printer weight/copy paper
was used so it could curve better.

A miniature Prima flower and rhinestone
finish the bra image off.

It is attached to the polka dot
pressure embossed card front with dimensionals.

The inside has a computer generated sentiment
and matching stamped, paper punched details.

Everything, other than the flower and ribbon,
came from SU!

I don't know that I'll ever need
such a card design again, but if I do,
I hope I remember how to make this.

Puppy With Balloons Birthday Card

Birthday card I made for my daughter's long time friend
who loves dogs.

I stamped the balloon a couple of additional times,
hand cut them out and adhered them
behind the main image.

I added extra lines with a black pen.

Image colored with inks from ink pads
and an aquapainter.

I should have heat embossed the "happy birthday"
on the black card stock, the white craft ink seems to
have faded a bit when it dried.

All supplies used were from Stampin' Up!
Bella and Friends stamp set
