Modern Mosaic Sympathy Card
I came across this embossed piece in my scraps
and decided to put it use making a simple
sympathy card.
I die cut a fancy label piece,
lightly rubbed silver ink along the edges,
added two silver brads on the edges
and mounted it over a hand cut
dark gray banner.
The entire front panel is attached to
a silver metallic card stock base.
All supplies used were from Stampin' Up!
Thank for looking =)

Kraft and Black Butterfly Sympathy Card
This card was inspired by a sample in an old
Stampin' Up! catalog.
All supplies used were from SU!
I'll be sharing several more sympathy cards
the next few days since my Mom asked
me to make some for her.
Thanks for looking =)

Layered Labels Birthday Card
This card gave me fits when trying to make it.
Ink smudges, blurred stamp images,
incomplete heat embossing, inky fingerprint on
the yellow flower I colored, difficulty coloring in the thin letters
....... ugh.
I managed to get it fixed and done - 2 hours later!
I really should have made a more special card though,
it was for a 75th birthday after all!
Stampin' Up! images, card stock, inks, dies.
Cuttlebug embossing folder
Core'dinations card stock, lightly sanded
Computer generated "birthday wishes" and
inside sentiment.
White "silk" flowers that I colored with reinkers,
both from SU!. The smaller flowers are from Prima.
Embossing powder

Flowers Card - stepped up
This card started as a simple RAK
(Random Act of Kindness; a
"thank you for your order" card) I received
"thank you for your order" card) I received
along with three others from a demonstrator.
It was just the flowers stamped on a card with a thin
strip glued across that had a sentiment.
It wasn't anything I'd ever use so I thought about it
and decided to try to "step up" that CAS
(Clean and Simple) card since i had the same set
and matching dies.
How did I step it up?
I cut the front panel from the back.
I used the back panel to die cut the flowers
to layer over the stamped flowers.
I added ribbon and a dark gray mat,
mounting it to Groovy Guava card stock.
The inside has a die cut layer.
I hand trimmed the corners of the dark gray
mat to show the flowers better.
I'll add a tiny stamped tag to the ribbon knot
on the front when I decide to send this.
Thanks for looking =)

Pink and Blue Sympathy

Another sympathy card........
Everything used was from Stampin' Up!
The card base, ribbon and tag are from a quite old card kit.
Here is one of the old, basic cards.
I stamped and die cut flowers from
Everything Is Rosy to dress this one up.
The sentiment is from Lasting Lilies.
I have one more of these card bases to assemble,
then the kit will be used up after several years;)
Thanks for looking.

Copper Oak Tree Card
Throwing together a few scraps to come up with this card.
I rather like how it turned out!
The oak tree is heat embossed with copper powder.
It's from Lovely As A Tree by Stampin' Up!
There are a few sprinkles stamped with copper Encore ink.
The mini leaf images were done with Versamark ink.
The paper punch leaf is from copper paper and
over stamped with the copper Encore ink.
I used a leaf rubber stamp image.
The thin strip of chevron embossed card stock was a piece
I trimmed off of my recently posted 4 Wheeler Card.
The canvas is a scrap from wide, wired craft ribbon.
The frame was created by carefully trimming around the
square opening in a scrap that I had die cut a square from
for another card. It didn't work half bad!
Thanks for looking =)

Beautiful Wishes Card
I inked up a really old stamp set for this simple card.
It's called Heaven Scent and was from Stampin' Up!
I used water based markers directly to the rubber stamp
to create the two tone stamped image.
I lightly heated the organdy ribbon with a heat gun
to gently curl it in places for a different look.
All supplies used were from Stampin' Up!,
but have been long retired.
Thanks for looking , have a beautiful day!
