Cute New House Card

How adorable is this stamp image?
It's from Stamping Bella ,
Tiny Townie Fairy Garden House,
and was perfect to congratulate new home owners.

The word happy (that I'm not happy about how
it turned out, all splotchy no matter how many times I tried)
was inked with a marker. It was part of a sentiment stamp
from Lawn Fawn.

I water colored the house with inks from my ink pads
and an aquapainter. I used the colored
image on the stamp packaging as a guide.

Its mounted onto a textured red
card stock base from DCWV
with a Ballet Blue mat.

I die cut a sweet edge from So Saffron to tuck
under the blue polka dot ribbon.
The die was from Stampin' Up!,
the ribbon was from American Crafts.

This is the first of many cards I made recently
and will be sharing daily through the rest of the month.

Next up, graduation cards.

Turning Into My Mom Card

This is an image I've had for years and kept forgetting to find it.
Not this year!

I'm not overly thrilled with this card though. It's a bit too bright.

The design is based off of a sample in an old catalog, using a different
image, colors and embellishments.

Most supplies used were from Stampin' Up!

Happy Mother's Day !  I'll be baking first thing this morning then picking up my Mom to drive her to my sisters house. This will be the first time we've seen them since the pandemic hit, actually since Christmas 2019!

Best Mother Ever Card

I used some of my old brass templates by Lasting Impressions for this card.
After embossing the images on the colored papers,
I lightly sanded the raised portions to reveal
a bit of the white core for contrast.

The rubber stamp image, pink patterned paper and
card stocks are all from Stampin' Up!

The white core textured green card stock, Close To My Heart.

Black polka dot paper, Die Cuts With A View.

Sequins from my crafts stash.

National Scrapbooking Day

It's National Scrapbooking Day,
the perfect day to announce that I'll be a
Guest Creative Team member for
Designs by Connie Prince
this June and September !!!

I'm looking forward to working with
her terrific kits and team members
to create digital scrapbook pages.

On a side note somewhat related,
I've been slowly making progress on
the traditional paper crafted scrapbook
album for my dog - 10 years after she passed!

Memories kit by Connie Prince

Floral Dance Die - pink

Happy May Day!

This card is a work in progress.
I left it at this point and will add something
else to it when I am ready to send it.
I don't have a need for it at the moment.

Maybe I should have stamped or embossed the pink background.
A solid ribbon, not sheer, probably would have been better, too.
It's kind of "blah" to me.

The border is die cut with a Diesires die,
Floral Dance, and colored with chalks.
Rhinestone accents.
