Christmas Star Cards

A few cards featuring star die cuts

and stamp images from Stampin' Up!.

Top photo:

The bottom left one was inspired by a sample I saw online.

The bottom right one is a removable chipboard ornament.

The top one uses Bright and Beautiful stamp set.

The two white and silver cards in the bottom photo

use Star Of Light set and a scrap of vellum that has

silver stars printed on it.

Thanks for looking =)

Cards I Received

These are the sweet handmade cards I received this month.

I love them all - and the people that sent them ❤

Christmas Pines cards

Several Christmas cards I made with the Christmas Pines stamp and dies

from Stampin Up!'

There are other dies, ribbon, etc used, too.

Thanks for looking =)

Peace and Joy cards

A couple of the cards were copied from

samples in their catalogs.

Thanks for looking =)

Good Tidings cards

It's a bit tricky for me to get perfectly lined up,

but when I do, I love the look of this stamp set!

I wish it came with dies to make trimming

out the beautiful holly images easier ;)

Nearly everything used came from Stampin' Up!

Beautiful Boughs cards

This set of cards uses mainly the

Beautiful Boughs stamp and dies from Stampin' Up!

That gorgeous die cut and embossed frame is also from SU!

as are the other sentiment stamps.

Some ideas inspired by catalog samples.

Thanks for looking =)

Shadowbox Cards

I made these cards months ago and didn't save the information.

After a bit of searching online, I found the link to the how-to!

http://stampwithtami.com/blog/2016/11/shadowbox-santa/

I did change mine up a little

and the snowman card is a bit larger to fit the die.

Thanks for looking !

Mini Christmas Greens die cut cards

I had a few scraps sitting around

for years and finally put them to use!

The preprinted sentiment tags were from

a really old card kit from Stampin' Up!

A couple were also used on yesterdays cards posted.

The little strip of heat embossed holly paper

was leftover from a card I made a few years ago.

(see that Christmas card & matching bowl cozy here)

Why I saved that little strip for so long, I dunno.

I guess I hoped to find a use for it one day since

it had the embossing on it. Funny how some scraps

go right to the trash and others are hoarded ;)

 embossed background pieces

(Old World Paper by SU! reminded me of bark a bit)

lots of mini die cut Christmas Greens

(Tim Holtz/Sizzix) embellished with

pearls I colored red, dabs of red paint, sponged ink

twine, ribbon, etc

rubber stamps (SU!)

Thanks for looking

Embossed Background Christmas Cards

Cards made with some bits n'pieces leftover from other projects.

Nearly everything used came from Stampin' Up!

I used embossing folders on each of them,

two have Coredinations card stock that I sanded

to reveal the lighter color core.

Thanks for looking =)
