CAS Peppermint Holidays Card

ANOTHER simple Christmas card made with
scraps of that peppermint stripe patterned paper!
I think I made 6 cards with that one piece of
12 x 12 paper this year.

Scraps of red and white card stock layered over it
with "faux brads" on the ends. Done!

It was nice and flat for mailing, too.

That's the last Christmas card for this year.

Thanks for looking =)

Plaid Season's Greetings Card

One of the two last minute Christmas cards
that I made this year. The final one will
be shared tomorrow, then that is it

I used some scraps on this card.

It's also another simple enough one that is flat.

The holly is dry embossed with red glossy craft paint
and white gel pen accents.

The rubber stamp image was from Stampin' Up!

Patterned paper, unknown

Thanks for looking =)

CAS Santa Card

Another pretty quick card and using up some scraps.

The image was water colored with inks from my Stampin' Up! classic ink pads. It's an old one from Stampin' Up!, the set name is A Holiday Hello. A white gel pen was used to fill in the polka dots on his suit.

I cut a teeny pompom in half to trim his hat and added a red rhinestone to the holly on the hat brim.

A scrap of patterned paper and polka dot grosgrain ribbon are layered behind the die cut circles.

Thanks for looking, Merry Christmas !

Die Cut & Pieced Ornaments Cards

These were time consuming, but I love the look!

I die cut several colors of "holographic" papers and

pieced them into a silver ornament die cut.

A few rhinestone embellishments, a piece of ribbon,

die cut pine branches over an embossed background

complete the cards.

Other than the "holographic" papers and rhinestones,

everything else came from Stampin' Up!

Thanks for looking, Merry Christmas!

Season's Greetings Card

Here is a more elegant Christmas card,
yet still pretty easy to make.

Images are from Stampin' Up! and heat embossed gold.

Navy, Vanilla and Gold card stocks.

Navy organdy ribbon and gold cord.

 Embossing folder from Sizzix.

 Thanks for looking, Merry Christmas!

Snow Much Fun Christmas Wishes Card

An appropriate Christmas Card to share today, the first day of winter :)

The images are oldies from Stampin' Up (Snow Much Fun), water colored using ink from my classic dye ink Stampin' Pads and an aquapainter.

I added teeny tiny pompoms for snowballs.

The sentiment tag has a scrap of chipboard behind it to give it some dimension and a piece of baker's twine.

Stickles diamonds glitter glue is spread on the "ground".

We are going to have clear skies tonight to look at the conjuncture of Saturn and Jupiter. I'm looking forward to it and hope you can catch a glimpse of it, too.

Thanks for looking!

Wreath and Tree Cards - leafy branch punch

I had some scraps of dark green card stock,
so I punched out a bunch of leafy branches.
I made two cards with them,
nothing fancy and not a new idea,
but a great way to use those small scraps.
