Lots of Happy Birthday Card 3

Curly Cute and not sure of the other stamp set.
Die cut leaves from another set
were used on this Lots of Happy card.
As with all of my other Lots of Happy cards,
I water colored the images.

Thanks for looking =)

Lots of Happy Thanks Card

I've had so much fun with the
Lots of Happy card kit refill Stampin' Up!
sold a few years ago.
I used words from another set on this card
since I didn't have the stamps from the kit.

Thanks for looking =)

Lots of Happy Sympathy Card

I put to use a few leftovers from the Lots of Happy card kit
I played around with last year, emptying my scrap drawer.
See the 16 cards I made last year here , here and here.

I was able to make six more cards
with leftover bits from that kit and images I printed.
I'll be sharing them over the next week.

The embossed piece was from the kit.
I lightly sanded the raised areas.
The black and white paper is one of the envelopes
I cut apart. I didn't use any of the mini envelopes
or mini card bases to make cards as designed
in the kit, instead altering them to make
full size cards.

I added die cut pieces from other sets I have.

Thanks for looking =)

For You Phrases Card Kit 2

Here is the second set of cards I made with leftovers
from a card kit sold in 2006 by Stampin' Up!,
For You Phrases.

Snowflake Soiree and That's The Ticket stamp sets.
Sage Shadow, Not Quite Navy colors.
Shimmery paper behind the paper pierced NQN strip.

I used two other stamp sets in addition to the one
that came in the kit on this card.

First Frost stamp and die set was used on this card.
I ran the Not Quite Navy piece through the
Subtle embossing folder.

For You Phrases Card Kit 1

Three cards I made with kit leftovers - from 2006!
I made one card the way it was designed in the kit
then never did anything else with the other three.
It was well past time to do something with these
precut pieces, so I spent a day coming up with other ideas.

This card uses the Make A Medallion stamp set.
Really Rust, Crumb Cake, Not Quite Navy colors
Sage Shadow ribbon

Stampin' Around wheel for the inside.

Three different stamp sets were used on this card.
I also cut a piece of designer paper to glue
onto the back of the clear button.
This card is similar to the one designed in the kit,
but using different stamps and altering the button.

I used a portion of a long border stamp for this card.
It was stamped with a permanent black ink then water colored
with inks from my ink pads and an aqua painter.

Here is an image of the original kit:

Tomorrow I'll share the cards made with the
Sage Shadow/Not Quite Navy cards.

Thanks for looking =)

Two Springy Feminine Cards

Putting more scraps to use
along with some new bits I made to
complete these two cards.

Everything used came from Stampin' Up!
over the years and most are no longer available.

The card base above is from an old kit Stampin' Up! sold.
This is the last one, finally, to be used from that kit.
I cut the card front apart and reassembled it
then added stamped and die cut pieces.
The original card had a flap and a simple tag that you
would stamp then thread onto the ribbon.
The ribbon held the flap card closed.
It was a basic, simple kit. I have altered several
of the card bases from that kit over the years.
You can see one of the basic card kit samples here.
I did add two embossed lines to the pink portion.
The same card with added flowers here.

Two Crayon Resist Cards

I love the look of crayon resist on white glossy card stock!

Simply stamp your image in a permanent black ink,
draw on the glossy white card stock with a white
crayon where you want there to be white highlights
then sponge ink over it. Once dry, gently wipe the
excess ink/crayon off with a soft tissue and
watch the white areas POP!

These two cards were created with the final two
pre-cut card stock "kits" leftover from a class
I taught about 15 years ago!!! Seriously.
I had several more packets than the number
of people I was told would be there.
These are the last two and I used totally different stamp
images and colors on them, even rotating the one.

Everything used came from Stampin' Up! over the years
and are now retired, no longer available.

The above card uses Mixed Bouquet.

I think this was the original version
I made for the class:

The card below uses
Flower Fest and
Tin Of Cards
