Orange Date Salad - originally seen in my local newspaper
Once again, I had to make do with what was at our local store. I substituted packaged dates, canned mandarin oranges and orange juice concentrate. The vinaigrette was a bit mustardy for our tastes so I added more orange juice concentrate. I did mix this in lettuce to create a salad.
Sounds interesting! I love dried and fresh fruits in salads, but have never tried orange and dates...

I love that you tried all of these different things! We tend to do all of the same foods for Christmas. I am the adventurous food person in my family and usually have to make something and force others to taste it. Sometimes it's a hit and others really bomb...
