Thnx - Mustang CARd feminine

This is the thank you card I made for my friend that recently
gifted me this neat 1966 Mustang fastback stamp, die
and diamond plate embossing folder with chrome card stock.
Thanks so much again, Margy.

The stamped and die cut Mustang image
was colored with Prismacolor pencils.
Crystal Effects was applied to the "glass" areas.

The shiny pink circular piece
was cut from the bubble wrap envelope
that I received the goodies in :)

The chrome card stock and diamond plate embossing folder
were used to create one of the strips behind the panel.
Black textured card stock was used for the other.

"thx" is from a swing card die set from Stampin' Up!
and cut from textured black card stock.

So when the '66 fastback that my husband recently bought gets
to the point that it's ready for paint,
I wonder if he'd consider spraying it pink ?!? Ha !
Paint is a loooooooooooooooooong way off though.

I'm entering my card in the current challenge at
Shopping Our Stash
not a lot of coloring, but it is kind of crazy
seeing a pink colored Mustang ;)

Thanks for looking !

  1. I truly loved my card and meant to email you yesterday when I got it!
I didn’t even realize the pink was from the bubble wrap...dah. What a clever idea.

  3. So so cool! Then I was wowed when I saw that your family actually has that car! Sweet! That stamp will be awesome to try different color options on! (Though pink would be rad!) Thanks for sharing at SOS last week. If you have any more bubble wrap around, our current challenge at Shopping Our Stash is to upcycle... Just sayin'...
