Beautiful Friendship card

I got a smudge on the card front and decided to hide
it with this piece of ribbon and brad.
Not sure that I like it though...........

50th Anniversary Card

Well, the patterned paper piece behind the 50 seemed to
match the card better while I was making it in another room
with different lighting. Taking a photo of it in this room
filled with lots of natural light, it looks off. Sigh...

The background has lots of texture from an embossing folder,
We R Memory Keepers - Next Level 3D Embossing Folder.
.
I decided to rub metallic "paint" over it,

Craf T Products Rub On Color Kit.

I die cut a paper doily and the number 50
with dies from Stampin' Up!
The rubber stamp and card stocks are
also from SU!

The patterned paper piece is a scrap from
some Christmas cards I made (to be
shared next month) and is from the
gorgeous Falloween paper stack by DCWV.

Good Things Grow cards

Wow, the colors in this Paper Pumpkin kit (Good Things Grow)
are weird to me, pretty bright.
It's an oldie I came across second hand and had no idea
of the true colors of the elements until I opened it.
I added a little more color with alcohol markers
or a bit of watercolor to try to mute it somewhat.
It helped a little
I changed the kit layouts, too,
and added stamped greetings from other sets I own.

Thanks for looking =)

Pinwheel Halloween Card

Not quite sure if that is what this type of fun fold card is called,
but coincidentally I received it in the mail from my long time
"pen pal" the same day the Splitcoaststampers newsletter
had a tutorial for a Stepped Up Pinwheel Card

I just love it!

I did mention in my previous post that
I have 100 or so holiday cards already made,
but I think I might need to make one more
with this fun fold ;)

I'm back !

Not that I haven't been creating things off and on all summer after I spent some time reorganizing my craft room, I just took a break from blogging my creations.

I have lots of things to share! I have over 100 Christmas cards alone to share! I'll be sharing one of them every day for the next two months. November will be birthday cards and the like, but December will be Christmas cards. There are so many to share, blog posts will have multiple cards.

Also, I was a creative team member for Connie Prince last month. I didn't bother to make posts on my blog to promote her kits since I have so few followers, but I did make a couple of dozen pages with her kits and templates to post to her store galleries last month. If you are interested in digital scrapbooking, check out her store at Gingerscraps.net.

With that said, once I share all of the most recent creations over the next two months, I'll likely bring my blogging days to a close at the end of this year. It is time consuming for nothing more than to share my creations with a few people. I need to better spend that time. I certainly have enough cards made to last the next year (or longer) so I don't see myself making much to share anyway. Thanks for sticking with me here on my little blog all these years =)

Happy Fourth

This will likely be my last post for a while.
I have finished up my creative team duties for Designs by Connie Prince
and I have numerous cards already made. I need to concentrate on my own personal scrapbooks/photos. I have hundreds of photos to get into albums still
plus I need to finish making scrapbooks. That project was put on hold for a while,
it's past time I start working on it. First, I need to reorganize some things in my craft rooms ....

Have a happy and safe summer, stay healthy!
