It's Beginning to Look - and Feel - Like Christmas

Quick page I threw together using a premade album in My Memories Suite scrapbooking (and so much more!) software. I slightly altered it by making it a single photo rather than using the three photo boxes the page was designed with. I also moved the word SNOW from the turquoise paper so I could add a text box. I reduced the opacity to about 5 and copied/pasted it three times along the bottom edge of the raspberry paper. I could have easily added more embellishments from other kits, but decided to keep it simple. I do think I should have added a button or brad, something to the middle of the large upper snowflake. It will be easy enough to do later on.

Notice the flag blowing ? The winds were gusting to 60+ mph today ! There were thunderstorms overnight with temperatures in the mid 50's. I woke up to 56 degrees with light winds. By 8 am the winds had picked up considerably, by 9 am the temps were falling rapidly. 11 am we saw the first snowflakes and huge wind gusts. By the end of the day we had about 1/2" of snow on the grassy areas, cold and very windy still. It was as if we saw all four seasons in one 24 hour period ! Winter weather blew in right on cue since it is the first day of Winter tomorrow !
