Noel Santa Wood Word

Finally put paint to this wooden item I bought 

quite some time ago! 

I used craft acrylic paints directly to the wood.

It was lightly sanded in places along the edges.

A small scrap of torn plaid cotton fabric,

a wood button and linen thread finish it off.
