I bought a container of die cut felt pieces quite some time ago and never really knew what to do with them. They have a brass eyelet in the centers of them.
This year I dug them out and had the thought to turn them into these simple ornaments (in addition to some Christmas cards I shared previously).
I hot glued two of them together then added a piece of thin twine run through a button, hot glued to the center over a scrap of fabric. Hot glued another looped piece of twine to the back for a hanger = a dozen of them done!
I thought about adding other things to them to dress them up even more, but in the end decided to keep them super simple. Maybe I will adhere a piece of card stock to the back to cover up the eyelet backs anyway since I didn't think to flip them over, having the nice front of the eyelet showing on the back side to make it more finished. Doing that can also allow them to be written on, making them a sort of gift tag. Maybe next year. For now they are sitting in my completed crafts boxes since I got them done too late to do anything with this year.
Thanks for looking =)
