Veterans Day

November 11 is Veterans Day, a time to honor those who have served our nation.

In 1919, President Woodrow Wilson proclaimed November 11 as Armistice Day to commemorate the end of World War I. The end of the war happened at the 11th hour, of the 11th day, of the 11th month, so that's why November 11 was chosen.

Congress changed the name to Veterans Day in 1954. Veterans Day, a legal holiday in the U.S., honors all who have served in the nation’s armed forces, whether they are living or dead.

Card recipe:
Die Cut With A View textured card
White card stock (looks vanilla!)
Real Red (Stampin' Up!) card stock
Folk Star punch, retired Stampin' Up!
Red, White, Blue glitters (unknown)
This is an old sample, inspired by one in a magazine several years ago that had glittery ornaments rather than stars. Super simple design I have used several times, for several occasions - just change up your images and colors !
