The fancy edge cutting die I purchased earlier this year
makes it easy enough to create a pretty card.
(Die'sires)
I ran it through the Big Shot twice to cut both long
edges of the white card stock.
It is layered on a Daffodil Delight card stock base.
I colored the petals with two shades of chalks and
added mini rhinestones to the centers of some.
I then carefully lifted the petals to give dimension.
The rubber stamp image (Well Scripted by Stampin Up!', 2010)
was heat embossed with a shimmery yellow embossing powder.
Yellow with white polka dots wide grosgrain ribbon
was bought at a dollar store quite some time ago.
I also used a long "forgotten" metal edge tag.
I've used a few of them on projects this year.....
Thanks for looking =)
I'm entering my card in the following challenges
Crafting By Designs - Mother's Day
and
Retro Rubber - Flowers
-this stamp isn't as old as most that I have, it's from this decade ;)

ReplyDeleteVery sweet Mother's Day card. I like the two tones on the petals and the way you've given dimension with that careful lifting. Yes, by your standards, a positively modern stamp! :-). Thanks for joining us again at Retro Rubber Challenge.
