The current Gingerbread challenge at

inspired me to finally put paint to this unfinished wood
gingerbread man shape I bought years ago!

I did take it apart before painting then added
new jute twine to reattach all the pieces once complete.
There were no eyes on him,
so I found some small wood circles in
my old craft supplies stash that I painted
then glued on.
I wasn't sure if I liked it so plain,
so I added a paper banner.....
still not sure if I am really happy with it....
maybe I'll cut the banners out of patterned paper
then add die cut letters on top.
Perhaps the plain white is too boring
and that is what is bothering me about it.
Thanks for looking =)
